A Message from Jeffrey Randolph, Chairperson, EAP – US Airways

Dear Brothers & Sisters,

Occasionally we all have problems that become hard to handle alone. That’s why the IAM offers the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for all of its employees and their families, including eligible domestic partners, no matter where they are located. This valuable benefit is offered to you by your Union and is intended to assist you in resolving your personal concerns before they affect your work-related performance.

The airline industry is a dynamic business, and we recognize that employees operate in an environment characterized by constant change. Coping with change is often difficult. While you may not have control over all of the changes that come your way, the EAP can help you find positive ways to face them.

The District Lodge 141 Employee Assistance Program (EAP) goal is to motivate troubled employees to seek and accept professional assistance within the constraints of the respective negotiated company benefit plan.

The EAP coordinator’s function within the program is to provide education and awareness of the EAP, advocate for, and support the principles and tenets thereof, and direct employees to an appropriate and qualified professional evaluation resource. That resource for US Airways Fleet Service workers system wide as of January 1, 2007 is United Healthcare. 1-800-363-7190.

An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a worksite-based program designed to assist in the identification and resolution of personal concerns, which may impair productivity. These personal concerns include, but are not limited to, health, marital, family, financial, alcohol, drug, legal, emotional, stress or other personal concerns, which may adversely affect employee job
performance

If you or eligible dependents need assistance with any of these issues, please feel free to call a local EAP coordinator listed on this page or the IAMAW District 141 Employee Assistance Program 24 hours a day at 904.556.1110.

Fraternally, Jeffrey E. Randolph top
