Shop Steward and Grievance Committee Training
To meet the challenges being faced in the transportation industry,
District Lodge141 is committed to educating our Local Lodge
Representatives and leadership. This will ensure that highly skilled,
knowledgeable, rank and file leaders will be in the best position to
represent their fellow IAM members in the workplace.
To assist our IAM Representatives in their diverse roles, the District 141
Education Committee will be conducting a number of training programs
throughout the coming year. It doesn't
matter if the attendee was elected last week or has been doing the job for
years, participating in a training course will provide an opportunity to
gain skills, as well as sharing experiences with other IAM
Representatives.
The following is a brief description of the various programs that are
being offered at this time.
Enrollment must be authorized by your
Local Lodge.
We are convinced these programs will assist and support our membership
thoroughly throughout these worrisome times. Please call the District
Lodge 141 Chicago Office at (847) 640-2222 Extension 17 to schedule the
training.
Sincerely and fraternally,
Bob Kraves
