Hawaiian airlines agreement reached
1,200 IAM-represented workers at Hawaiian Airlines now have a tentative agreement, AGC Randy Kahaune announced this week in Honolulu. The new IAM contract protects customer service agents, rampers, reservationists, schedule planners, purchasing, records, and crew schedulers at Hawaiian.
The IAM recommends ratification of the contract. Workers at Hawaiian will vote on the package in the coming weeks.
Hawaiian Airlines' top boss, Mark Dunkerley, agreed with the Machinists Union, saying the agreement would increase pay for workers and help strengthen the company at the same time.
Text of the actual agreement is being provided by Randy, and will be published here.
