Human rights
Worker rights are human rights
protecting those rights is our job at an airline union
As you can see, you have rights. The problem is protecting those rights.
The question becomes, “Do I trust a corporation to protect me?” Top executive bosses in corporations wouldn’t dream of working without a contract, one that protects them and rewards them with high pay and benefits. But they think you should.
There is another way, a better way. That other way is to have a contract of your own, called a “collective bargaining agreement.” It comes with being a union member. So does higher pay, better benefits, and assurance that your rights – in all of the areas listed below – are protected on the job.
- The Right To Belong To A Union
- The Right To Be Paid Overtime
- The Right Not To Be Disciplined For
When Injured - The Right To Job Security
Following Military Duty - The Right To A Safe & Healthy
Work Place - Global Economy and You
- Age
- Disability
- Family Medical Leave
- Gender
- Pregnancy
- Race or Ethnicity
- Religion
- Sexual Orientation
- Sexual Harassment
